More new things.

I've shot many bike races, various forms of climbing, paragliding, yoga, and even caving. Team sports are however something I have never attempted, so thanks to CC Tigers Lacrosse I had an entertaining and rather productive afternoon at Washburn Field on the Colorado College campus.

Having never shot team sports, let alone lacrosse, I had no idea what to bring and thus ended up with my light kit remaining in my pack due to the impracticality of attempting any sort of supplemental light by myself. However the game began at 3:30 and consequently I had very workable natural light. As for gear, the duration of the game I primarily shot my D700 with Tamron 200-400mm f5.6 @ ISO400-800on a monopod, and the supplemental shots with the D70 and 17-35mm f2.8 @ISO200 for the wide shots.

Here I had expected to write something more about the game, but there is simply not many kind words to describe the match. So I will only say, "Well done CC".
