Less than an hour outside of Portland, OR a two mile stretch of trail reveals an almost mythical realm of moss covered trees, waterfalls, towering redwoods, and cliffs traversed by narrow mid-face sections of trail. Previously I had hiked this same trail during my last visit to to the Pacific Northwest, however during this trip I was able to hike further and with far better light.
Tech: (this was a casual hike with my friend and thus my primary purpose was not photography, hence minimal gear) Nikon D700, f3.5-5.6 28-120mm
